Clearlight Designs on display at the Sydney HIA Home Show

Last month our display at the Sydney HIA Home Show was simple and elegant. As with our mirrors, making something seem simple takes a lot of hard work. It was a great to opportunity to talk to people about our products and listen to their ideas.

A wave of enthusiasm for our work washed over us for four days. We have developed what we believe to be state of the art in illuminated mirrors and had six on display, our four most popular designs and two new ones. The ‘Reverb’ a round mirror with frosted light frame that extends to the edge of the mirror and projects light across the wall in all directions, and a full length dress mirror, styled as a slim version of our ‘Eleven’ design. It is designed to casually lean against the wall, or can easily be fixed to the wall.

The design for the shower-screen we had on display was commissioned by a client who bought a mirror from us earlier in the year. Recently the same client commissioned an etched screen that would provide a level of privacy but not be totally opaque. After completing the commissioned shower screen we just had to make one for the Home Show. We are familiar with Warwick’s highly detailed glass etchings, but many had never seen such a thing and were surprised to find the multi level etching was sandblasted into the glass and not a vinyl film as they first thought.

We have been inspired once again by talking to people and listening to their ideas and comments. We will keep you informed of our next show, just keep an eye on the home page of our website. If you would like updates of new products and innovations leave a comment and your email address below and we will keep you informed with the occasional newsletter.

Hope to see you at the next show

Regards, Clearlight Designs
